Im ÖVSV Landesverband Steiermark haben wir uns entschlossen, die Idee von Special Olympics in der  Amateurfunk-Community bekannter zu machen, und das mit einer deutlich sichtbaren Funkaktivität zu tun. 1977, also vor 40 Jahren fanden die ersten von Special Olympics organisierten World Winter Games statt. Daran erinnern die beiden Calls OE40SO und OE40WG. Mittlerweile ist die Bewegung von Special Olympics rasant gewachsen. Heuer finden die 11ten World Winter Games mit 2700 Athleten aus 107 Nationen in Schladming, Ramsau und Graz statt. 

Vom 14. März - 26. März 2017 werden die Clubstationen Kainachtal (OE6XRG /OE11WG), Leibnitz (OE6XFG / OE11SO), Mürztal (OE6XMG / OE40SO) und TU Graz (OE6XUG / OE40WG) mit den jeweils zugewiesenen Sonderrufzeichen aktiv sein.

Für denselben Zeitraum können österreichische Funkamateure und Funkamateurinnen um das Sonderpräfix OE2017 auf einfache Weise beim zuständigen Fernmeldebüro ansuchen. Viele haben dies bereits getan und unterstützen auf diese Art die Idee von Special Olympics.

Special Olympics World Winter Games 2017 - Award

Jede Station mit dem Präfix OE2017 zählt in jeder Betriebsart und auf jedem Band einen Punkt.
Kontakte mit den Sonderstationen OE40WG – OE40SO – OE11WG – OE11SO zählen jeweils 10 Punkte pro Band und Betriebsart.

Bronze:
Mindestens 11 Punkte und mindestens eine Sonderstation mit dem Präfix OE40 oder OE11

Silber:
Mindestens 20 Punkte und mindestens eine Sonderstation mit dem Präfix OE40 oder OE11

Gold:
Mindestens 40 Punkte und mindestens eine Station mit dem Präfix OE40 und eine mit OE11

Amateur radio activity for a good cause

We want to promote the idea of Special Olympics with special event stations and a special prefix which is applicable on demand for all austrian amateur radio stations.
Many of our colleagues requested for the prefix OE2017 and promote the idea of special olympics.

In 1977, 40 years ago, there were the first Special Olympics World Winter Games (OE40SO, OE40WG). The idea has grown and so this year, the 11th games (OE11WG, OE11SO) with 2700 athlets from 107 countries are held in Schladming, Ramsau and Graz.

 

From March, 14 to March, 26 the following club stations are active on all bands: Kainachtal (OE6XRG / OE11WG), Leibnitz (OE6XFG / OE11SO), Mürztal (OE6XMG /OE40SO) and Technical University of Graz (OE6XUG / OE40WG). Also many of OE2017stations, which you can find in our list.

So we can offer this special award to all hamradio operators who work this stations.

 

Special Olympics World Winter Games 2017 - Award

Each station with OE2017 is valid for 1 point in every mode and on every band.
Contacts with special event stations OE40WG - OE40SO - OE11WG - OE11SO are valid for 10 points on every band and mode

Bronze:
More than 11 Points and at least one special event station OE40 or OE11

Silver:
More than 20 Points and at least one special event station OE40 or OE11

Gold:
More than 40 Points and at least one one special event station with OE11 and one with OE40
